FAQs & Advice

How much per Sqm do you charge for paving?

This is always the first question people ask me. As I explain to them, every job is different. I need to visit the site to look at the condition of it. Does it require a lot of prep work? Is a bin required to remove rubble? How much plasterers sand is required to be brought in? What type of area will I be paving: Driveway, Alfresco or Pool? There can be more work required in certain areas.  What type of paver will you be using and what type of pattern do you want laid? Also you may want a border installed or lots of curves cut in which take a lot of time setting up.  All these different aspects can account for different pricing.

What type of base do you use under your paving?

A quality finish requires a good foundation. During the years I have paved I have found plasterers sand to be the best product on which to lay my pavers. It is a nice sand to screed and I find I get a smoother level finish. When compacting at the end of a job, I find the pavers bite into the product easier for a beautiful clean finish.

What areas does CREATIVE PAVING SERVICES work in?

Creative Paving Services travels all over the Perth Metropolitan area and surrounding country towns. I endeavour to service all clients no matter where they are situated.

How is CREATIVE PAVING SERVICES different from its competitors?

My business model aims to provide a great experience from the beginning to the end of a job. We're professional, reliable, provide excellent customer service and take pride in all aspects of our work.  My attitude is "Always do that little bit more, not that little bit less." This ensures a high standard of workmanship and a quality job that the clients will love.

What does Creative Paving use to fill in the gaps once paved?

Once the job is completed and the paving is clean the next step is to sweep in a product called Pave Set. This is designed to lock all pavers and cuts in tight and also has an added advantage that it helps stop weeds and ants coming through.

Are you required to seal the paving?

I always used to insist that client's get their paving sealed but now there are pros and cons to doing this. The overwhelming consensus and the advice I give now is to please speak directly to the manufacturer of the product. They'll be able to give you the most current and accurate information.
